7th grade orchestra will be using the Essential Elements for Strings book 2

8th grade orchestra will be using Essential Techniques for Strings book 3

There are 2 editions of these books, the 2000 (left) and the latest edition (right). Either edition will work just fine!

 

I do not require the parents or students to provide their own books for class, as I do have classroom copies. However, do keep in mind that these books have multiple written exercises, and the students will not be able to write in my class copies. It is incredibly beneficial for each student to have their own personal copy for the purpose of the written exercises, as well as for personal use throughout their musical education.
